Primary areas of which we're seeking extra hands in are in general convention operations and programming. For convention operations, volunteers will be working with staff members in setting up/tearing down events (masquerade, auction, etc.), supervising various sectors of the convention floor (info desk, showings, etc.). However, if you're just interested organizing a panel, that's awesome too! If you have a wonderful panel idea that you want to do at the convention, then by all means do so!

Want to volunteer, but still want to enjoy the convention programming? No problem! Those who sign up for volunteering are only asked to work a couple hours during the convention! Volunteers not only get to enjoy the majority of the convention, but are able to be eligible for refunds on their badge price! It's true! Depending on the number of hours worked, you will receive a partial, or full refund on your badge. Free badge just for helping the staff for a few hours? Sounds pretty sweet!
